Abstract: with the development of network technology, College English education are confronted with opportunities and challenges, how to correctly understand the shortcomings of the traditional college English education in the network era, while seeking new college English education idea is the urgent task of every college English teacher services. This paper points out the shortcomings of our traditional mode of English education in University, and then analyzes the role of network technology in English education of University in our country, finally points out that the teachers should be how to network era of English education of University students.
